Did You Know

Allen County Education Partnership, Allen County Public Library, Early Childhood Alliance, and The Literacy Alliance have produced "Did You Know? Allen County's Tip Sheet for Early Reading Success."

Parental and caregiver involvement are critical to a child's success in school, whether reading 20 minutes a day with a child or communicating regularly with a child's teacher.

Distributed to schools and preschools for students up to 3rd grade to take home, "Did You Know?" is a way to help parents and caregivers get involved with their child's education and school.

The Lilly Endowment funded "Did You Know?" focuses on the importance of reading with tips for parents and caregivers along with information on current public programs.  Each flyer includes contributions from the four partner organizations.
