The goal of the Read to Me campaign is to ensure that all Allen County children are read to on a regular basis. Thousands of new books are given away each year to Allen County families with young children in cooperation with several local social service organizations. Trained volunteer Story Friends read to small groups of children at childcare centers and in pediatric clinic waiting rooms. Read to Me also conducts a continuous book drive called “Books for Kids.”
